Lesley’s Life Is Sweet is a woman-owned humanitarian and artisanal chocolate company.


Founder and president Lesley Byrne emphasised the high standards required to become USDA certified.


“Becoming USDA-certified organic is rewarding because the standards are so high,” Byrne said. “At least 95% of all the ingredients must be USDA-certified organic – including the chocolates, sugar, cream, butter, teas, coffees, spices, and vanilla – and are also certified fair trade.”


The new collection will be unveiled next month.
