Swiss chocolatier Lindt & Sprungli has announced plans to launch a direct sales programme in the US.
The manufacturer said yesterday (14 March) it will offer people the opportunity to become independent Lindt Chocolate R.S.V.P. Consultants, selling chocolates through “in-home chocolate tasting parties”.

By GlobalDataLindt said the programme will allow it to showcase and sample its “wide variety of premium chocolate, including exclusive Lindt Chocolate R.S.V.P. specialties, to new consumers across the country”.
The company said its consultants will be given training, expert coaching, a personal website that aids in generating successful sales results and an invitation to the Lindt Chocolate national sales conference.
