Nutitional ingredient company LycoRed has strengthened its position in the natural carotenoid market by acquiring H Reisman Corporation from Pharmachem Laboratories for an undisclosed amount.

Pharmachem Laboratories will continue to work with LycoRed following the acquisition of Reisman and become the sales arm for the company’s carotenoid beadlet products.
Current Reisman vice president and general manager Michael Reuben will stay on with the new organisation to help with the transition and integration process.
Reisman’s experience in added value carotenoid formulations and manufacturing provides LycoRed with a US manufacturing base.
