Nutritional ingredient company LycoRed has announced it will enter the vitamin and mineral premix arena through the acquisition of a production facility in New Jersey.
 
The company already leads the European premixes market, with a portfolio of carotenoid brands, natural food colorants and fortification technologies.
 
LycoRed president and CEO of LycoRed Morris Zelkha said: “Part of our global strategy is to enter the fortification market in the US with a wide array of innovative solutions for all aspects of the nutritional and food industries.
