T. Marzetti has recalled its Girard’s Honey Dijon Peppercorn dressing after a labelling error meant that eggs were not included on the ingredients list.

T. Marzetti, the speciality foods unit of US group Lancaster Colony, said it is recalling the dressing because it may have the back label for its French dressing, which does not include eggs.

People who have egg allergies should not consume the product, the company said.

The incorrectly-labelled products were distributed across the West Coast.
