Seasonings and flavourings specialist McCormick & Company has appointed George A. Roche, the former chairman and president of T. Rowe Price Group, to its board of directors, with effect from 1 February, 2007.

Roche retired as chairman and president of T. Rowe Price in 2006, after nine years in the post. He was the company’s chief financial officer from 1984 until 1997.
