Cargill has appointed McKinsey and Co. executive Sarena Lin to a senior strategy role.
Lin joins the US agribusiness giant as corporate vice president, strategy and business development. She replaces Jim Haymaker who will retire after 38 years with Cargill, the company said yesterday (24 May).
“Sarena’s impressive background in management consulting will add great depth and new perspective to our leadership team,” Haymaker said. “She will play a key role in driving innovation and influencing strategy that will help set the tone for growth at Cargill.”
Lin spent 13 years at McKinsey, working in Taiwan and New York. She previously had roles at Procter & Gamble and Xerox Corp.
