Indiana Packers Corp., a meat subsidiary of Japanese giant Mitsubishi Corp., plans to open a second US pork processing facility in Frankfort, Indiana.
The company will invest US$2.3m in the 56,500 square foot facility. The site will conduct fresh pork shipping and warehouse receiving operations.

Indiana Packers produces 3.5m pounds of fresh pork daily and manufactures smoked meat product lines under the Indiana Kitchen brand.
