B&D Food Corp., a holding company with interests in coffee manufacturing, has named Yaron Arbell as its new chief executive officer, and made some other key executive appointments.
Yossi Haras has been appointed as the company’s chief financial officer, while Jacques Ollech becomes executive vice president. The appointments took effect from 12 January 2006. Ollech and Arbell would be joining the board, the company said.
Arbell formerly headed the reform of Israel’s pension funds, serving as CEO of Mivtachim, the Workers Social Insurance Pension Fund Ltd, and four other smaller funds. He has also worked on the restructuring of various companies.
Haras most recently worked as senior account manager for Kost Forer Gabbay & Kasierer, part of Ernst & Young Global, while Jacques Ollech has some 20 years’ experience working in the coffee industry.
“We are excited to have Yaron, Yossi and Jacques on board,” said B&D’s chairman and president Daniel Ollech. “Their management and financial expertise will prove to be valuable as we continue to grow as a company.”
