Two companies specialising in organic produce – M.J. Davis & Co. and George’s Organics – have announced that they have merged to form Organic Partners International.
The company, based in Oregon, said it is the new “go to” source for certified organic products and ingredients and will offer unprecedented services as sourcing agents and primary ingredient suppliers.
“By pulling together an experienced team that has a sincere dedication to organic integrity, we’re able to meet the needs of organic products manufacturers in a way that has never before been available,” said Organic Partners president Jeffrey Vinson. “I’m thrilled that we’ll be a link to an increased reach and usage of organic products, which benefits us all.”
Organic Partners will offer a reliable international network of suppliers, made up of contacts established through more than 20 years of successful joint business worldwide, the new company said. The primary product lines for Organic Partners include tropical oils, dried beans, oil and confectionery seeds, specialty grains, frozen fruits and vegetables, nuts and dried fruits, cocoa products, high-oleic oils, tomato products and sweeteners.
