The CFO at US regional convenience retailer The Pantry has resigned.

The company said today (13 April) that Daniel Kelly has resigned from his roles as CFO, vice president, finance and company secretary.

Kelly said: “It was a difficult decision, but for personal and health reasons and a desire to spend more time with my family, I decided to reduce my professional commitments.”

The Pantry chairman and CEO Peter Sodini said Kelly would remain at the company until the end of November.

The Pantry is the leading independently operated convenience store chain in the south-eastern US. The company generates annual revenues of around US$6bn.
