Snacks manufacturer Snyder’s-Lance plans to close one of its manufacturing facilities next year.
The plant in Corsicana, Texas, is set to close on 10 February next year. As part of integration efforts since Snyder’s-Lance was formed in a merger last December, the company said it conducted a review of its manufacturing network.
As a result, it decided to close the Corsicana facility to reduce operating costs and consolidate production at its other sites. Snyder’s-Lance said it is is providing pay and outplacement support to help the staff impacted by the decision find alternative jobs.
Snyder’s-Lance has manufacturing facilities in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Indiana, Georgia, Arizona, Massachusetts, Texas, Florida, Ohio, and Ontario, Canada.
