Californian retailer Stater Bros. has promoted David Harris to the post of CFO.
The internal appointment suggests the group was seeking continuity of management. Harris has worked at Stater Bros. since 2009, most recently as SVP of finance.
Stater Bros. has had a solid start to its financial year. In May, it booked higher first-half sales and earnings, insisting investments in price and quality were allowing it to grow footfall.
