The Hershey Company has named Gregg Tanner as its new senior vice president of global operations, effective July 17, 2006.
He will succeed Raymond Brace, who announced his retirement earlier this year, as from 17 July.
Hershey Company chairman, president and CEO Richard Lenny said: “Gregg will be a terrific addition to The Hershey Company and to our executive team. He will make a significant contribution to the achievement of our long-term growth and productivity goals.
“Gregg’s depth of experience in a range of food categories as well as with different operating systems are ideal as Hershey accelerates its growth in the broader snack category and high-potential global markets.”
Tanner has 26 years of leadership experience in the supply chain. He most recently served as senior vice president of retail supply chain and retail products at ConAgra Foods.
