Unilever has announced the US nationwide recall of Knorr Kosher Soup Mix, chicken and vegetable flavour with pasta, due to an undeclared allergen.

The product contains egg, which is not declared on the label, and was distributed nationwide.

“The recall was initiated after it was discovered that product containing egg was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of egg,” Unilever said in a statement.

No illnesses have been reported.

The Knorr Kosher Soup Mix was manufactured in Israel by Unilever Bestfoods Israel and imported and distributed by a third party.
