Chicago-based food group Vita Food Products has announced the resignation of Terry W. Hess from the company’s board of directors, effective immediately.


 


Hess was vice chairman of the board and had recently retired from his position as CEO of Vita Speciality Foods, a wholly owned subsidiary that produces honey, salad dressings, marinades and salsas.


 


The company did not provide a reason for Hess’ departure.
