Winn-Dixie Stores has appointed Mary Kellmanson as vice president of marketing.
Kellmanson will succeed Dave Henry who has held the position since 2001 and is now retiring.
Previously, Kellmanson was vice president of advertising and marketing for Wegmans Food Markets for around 15 years.
“Mary’s strong marketing background will serve our company well as we continue focusing our efforts on providing a fresh and local shopping experience to our customers every day,” said Portnoy.
The US retailer this week posted a widening net loss of US$2.3m for its first quarter as a result of increasing operating costs and expenses for store remodelling.
