US agribusiness giant Archer Daniels Midland has announced the expansion of production capacity at four of its key processing plants in its North American Oilseed division.

The production capacity at plants in Mankato, Minnesota; Des Moines, Iowa; Lincoln, Nebraska and Enderlin, North Dakota is to be expanded, ADM said.

The planned expansion is part of ADM’s ongoing rationalisation strategy that includes re-deploying capacity to key facilities. The expansions are scheduled for completion by September 2005.
