Minnesota–based AgMotion has announced that its Mexican operating subsidiary, AgMotion SA de CV, has acquired the operations of specialty grains, feedstuffs, and organics distributor Negocios de Importacion Y Exportacion.
German Lemus, general manager of AgMotion SA de CV, commented: “We look forward to integrating the strong customer and supplier relationships of Negocios into AgMotion’s technology products.

AgMotion, through its AgMotion Technologies unit, builds and markets the AgMotion Marketing System, an eBusiness platform serving the agri-food sector.
AgMotion’s US commodities unit is a commodity procurement and distribution firm serving food, animal feed and industrial customers in the US, Latin America, Asia and Europe.
Dean Franke, VP of Latin American operations, is to manage the integration of Negocios into AgMotion’s three business units.
