Agribuys has announced that Vijay Yajnik has joined the company as president and COO.

“Vijay brings extensive retail experience to Agribuys; he has a commanding grasp of the retail environment and e-commerce, a thorough understanding of the operating intricacies of IT and deep senior management experience.”
Yajnik joins Agribuys from the WorldWide Retail Exchange (WWRE). Prior to that he was Group CIO at the Dairy Farm Group, a major Asian retailer headquartered in Hong Kong. He has held a variety of executive management positions at Kmart, California Federal Bank, Crocker National Bank and other financial institutions.
Yajnik expressed enthusiasm for the new challenge: “Agribuys is in a very exciting business space. I am pleased to be a part of it and I am looking forward to helping Agribuys realize its enormous business potential.”
