Madonna spent the majority of his career, from 1968 to 1996, at KPMG, where he held posts of increasing responsibility, ultimately serving as chairman and CEO of KPMG Peat Marwick US from 1990 until 1995, and chairman and CEO of KPMG International from 1995 to 1996. After leaving KPMG, he served as chairman and CEO, personal lines, for Travelers Property and Casualty from1996 until 1998. He then joined Carlson Wagonlit Travel where he served as chairman and CEO from 1998 to 2000. Since 2000, he has served as chairman of DigitalThink, an e-commerce company located in San Francisco, California.
