US pasta maker American Italian Pasta has announced that David B Potter, executive vice president, procurement and ingredient sales, is to resign from the company, effective 27 February.

The company said Potter was resigning after ten years with American Italian Pasta in order to pursue a general management opportunity.
Potter’s ingredient sales responsibilities will be taken on by Dan Trott, president of AIPC sales and executive vice president of marketing. Potter’s procurement responsibilities will be assumed by John Griffith, vice president of commodities and Walt George, executive vice president of operations.
