US fastfood giant Burger King has announced the appointment of veteran marketer Robert Levite as vice president, field marketing North America.


In this capacity, Levite will be responsible for providing brand leadership, improving marketing execution and driving customer satisfaction in more than 8,000 restaurants in the US and Canada. Levite will report to Russ Klein, Burger King’s executive vice president and chief global marketing officer.


Most recently, Levite was senior vice president of marketing for Wendy’s International, responsible for the brand marketing, media, creative services and international marketing functions in the US and Canada. During his tenure there, he led the development of the annual marketing calendar and directed new product strategy and development.
