Beginning today, BURGER KING® customers can savor new tasty menu items for only 99 cents on the BK Cravers Menu, each in New Orleans and Erie, Pennsylvania through July 16, 2000, or while supplies last. The 12 products featured at the 99-cent price point include new items like the BULL’S EYE® BBQ Deluxe burger, CHICKEN TENDERS® sandwich, Mozzarella Sticks, five piece CHICKEN TENDERS®, and Jalapeno Poppers®. The menu also includes standards like a local sandwich option, Small Shake, Apple Pie, Hershey’s Pie, medium French fries, medium onion rings, and a medium drink.

“This market test is part of our ongoing commitment to provide the best- tasting food at a great value to our customers,” said Dana Frydman, director, Product Marketing for Burger King Corporation. “Our goal is to provide our customers with a variety of menu items and affordable snacking options.”

In New Orleans, 75 BURGER KING® restaurants will participate and 15 will participate in Erie.

These market tests will be supported through local television advertising, radio promotions and in-store point-of-purchase materials.
