SCT (Nasdaq: SCTC), leading the e-engineering of the process industries, announced today that Cargill, Inc., has selected SCT’s iProcess.sct to provide the order management solution for its North American Food Operations. Cargill North American businesses using the solution will include: malt, salt, juice products, oilseeds, flour and corn milling, and well-known brands such as Excel Meats, Honeysuckle White Turkey, Wilbur Chocolates and Sunny Fresh Foods.

By the time the three-year implementation is complete, Cargill users and customers conducting business on iProcess.sct could exceed 5,000. The first license installment was recognized in SCT’s second fiscal quarter, which ended March 31, 2000.

Cargill will implement iProcess.sct, which includes iOrder.sct — a sell- side Internet B2B solution — and SCT’s Adage fully integrated sales order management solution as its transactional backbone. iProcess.sct is expected to be deployed to conduct sales transactions between Cargill and all its North American food customers. iProcess.sct also includes the Fygir Supply Chain Suite, which is utilized in several areas of Cargill, including North America, Latin America and Europe.
