Ronald R. Maccarone has been named president and CEO of Chevys Incorporated, the 164-strong Fresh Mex® restaurant chain.
Maccarone had been executive VP and CFO of Chevys since May of 1999, and is replacing Scott Bergren, who is leaving the company.
Jerry Horn, chairman of the board, said: “With Chevys’ long-term growth in mind, the board of directors had an easy decision choosing Ron to lead the company in its continued success. Ron will bring strong strategic, financial and consumer insight to the organisation due to his proven track record combined with his commitment to the Chevys Fresh Mex® brand.”
Prior to joining Chevys, Maccarone was executive VP and CFO of Eagle Hardware & Garden and previously senior VP and CFO of KIDSource Inc.
“I am very pleased to be in leadership with such talented and committed employees, all working together for the overall success and long-term growth of Chevys,” Maccarone said.
