The report in today’s online version of the Wall Street suggests Heyer will head the newly created new-business-ventures division. He is expected to oversee Coke’s efforts to develop snacks, juices, coffees and teas through separate joint ventures with Procter & Gamble and Nestlé.
Heyer was due to depart from his tenure as Turner president and chief operating officer on Tuesday. Coke has so far declined to comment on the report.
