Archer Daniels Midland Company today announced that Craig E. Huss has been elected Vice President.

Craig, a Decatur native, joined ADM in 1976 and has held various positions in grain elevator and merchandising management. He will continue to serve the Company as President, ADM Transportation, a position he has held since 1999.

Craig, 48, received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration in 1974 and a master’s degree in business administration in 1976 both from Southeast Louisiana University. He is married and has three children.

ADM is engaged in the business of procuring, transporting, processing and marketing agricultural products. It is one of the world’s largest processors of oilseeds, corn, wheat and cocoa, with over 23,000 employees worldwide, 368 processing plants and net sales for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2000 of $18.6 billion.
