El Paso Bar-B-Que, the restaurant division of Easyriders Inc. (AMEX:EZR) today announced that two new additions to its growing chain of unique, full-service dining establishments will open soon in Mesa and Tucson, Ariz.

Mesa will open on May 1 and a month later the Tucson location will open on June 1. These two locations will bring the growing El Paso Bar-B-Que restaurant chain to six in the southwestern U.S.

“We are very pleased to add these new locations to our growing family of restaurants,” said Bill Prather, chief executive officer of Easyriders Inc., and founder of El Paso Bar-B-Que restaurants. “Each restaurant will have a unique design and the same great food that people have grown to expect from El Paso Bar-B-Que.”

The El Paso Bar-B-Que restaurant in Mesa is situated in the Mesa Grande Center at the corner of Stapley and I-60 and is conveniently located next to an AMC 24 cineplex.

The restaurant will comfortably accommodate more than 300 customers with seating for 250 in the main dining area and outside seating for 75 on the signature El Paso Bar-B-Que patio, giving diners an opportunity to take in the beautiful sunsets that define the Southwest.

The Tucson restaurant, which is located at the intersection of Broadway and Craycroft, marks the first El Paso Bar-B-Que in the Tucson market.

“We have been looking for a location in the Tucson area for several years,” explained Marna Prather, vice president of restaurant operations for El Paso Bar-B-Que. “Finally we were able to land a location that is in the heart of the city’s retail shopping.” This location has seating accommodations in the main dining area for 200 patrons, while the outside patio will comfortably seat 75.

El Paso Bar-B-Que restaurants, founded in 1991, feature a broad variety of smoked barbecue offerings, fully licensed bars, and a Southwestern design theme known as “New West Chic” marked by bold color schemes and original Southwestern art.

Since September of 1998, the company has been a unit of Easyriders Inc., which also licenses motorcycle-related dealerships.

“We are very pleased with this accelerated rate of growth which indicates the vitality of the El Paso brand and the strength of our business,” added Bill Prather. “We look forward to being able to make further announcements in the future that underscore the success of El Paso Bar-B-Que.”
