FAMOUS DAVE’S OF AMERICA, INC. announces the opening of their newest location in Frederick, Maryland. This is the third opening in the company’s aggressive expansion plan for the Washington, D.C. Area.

The Annapolis and Woodbridge restaurants are the first of two conversions from Red River Bar-B-Que and Grille. They have achieved sales increases of 140%. A fourth Famous Dave’s will open in Columbia, Maryland in July with two additional units expected over the next eight months.
Famous Dave’s of America owns and operates 29 units and seven franchise units in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, Maryland and Virginia. Its menu features award-winning barbecued and grilled meats, an ample selection of salads, side items, sandwiches and unique desserts. The company plans to expand into additional areas through development, acquisition and franchising. Famous Dave’s first mall location will be the next unit to open at Yorktown Mall in Lombard, Illinois.
