Houston-based Sysco Corp, the largest foodservice marketer and distributor in the US, has announced that Brad H. Foerster has been promoted to executive VP of Pegler – Sysco Food Services Company, a Sysco subsidiary located in Lincoln, Neb.

Foerster, who is currently senior VP of the Lincoln operation, will assume his new duties on 30 June 2002, the beginning of Sysco’s fiscal year 2003.
Thomas E. Lankford, Sysco’s executive VP and president of foodservice operations, said that Foerster, 47, began his SYSCO career in 1988 as a marketing associate at the company’s Kansas City operation. He progressed to district sales manager in 1991 and director of national accounts in 1994. Foerster transferred to the corporate office in 1996 as VP of multi-unit accounts, a position he held until 1998 when he returned to the Kansas City operation as regional sales manager.
When Sysco opened its San Diego operation in 1999, Foerster joined that company as VP of territory sales. He advanced to VP of sales the following year, and in 2001 was named to his current position.
Pegler – Sysco Food Services Company markets and distributes a complete line of food and related products to a variety of hospitality and business locations throughout Nebraska, South Dakota and western Iowa.
