The eMarketplace currently features a comprehensive database of over 34,000 branded and private label products utilizing a database standard endorsed by industry associations like IFDA (International Foodservice Distributors Association), and IFMA (International Foodservice Manufacturers Association). The product database contains valuable marketing information on a vast array of products, including serving suggestions, preparation and cooking instructions, nutritional information, and ingredient statements.
By providing access to an extensive product database through its foodservice community, Foodservice.com brings a one-stop destination to operators where they can access information needed to make the right decisions at the time of procurement. Operators registered within the eMarketplace can search on over 17,000 company listings and quickly send RFIs to multiple suppliers through a single message detailing purchase requirements.
