When General Mills employees need a quick bite to eat, they don’t have to go far to get it.

In fact, they don’t even have to leave the building. General Mills, a leading manufacturer and marketer of consumer food products, recently entered into a three-year vending and refreshment services agreement with ARAMARK, a global leader in managed services.

ARAMARK has installed 58 vending machines for more than 3,500 employees in four General Mills locations in Minneapolis. These machines keep employees on-site throughout the workday with popular snack items and wide selection of options.

General Mills employees can recharge around-the-clock at convenient vending stations fully stocked with refreshments including candy, snacks, sodas, juices, and iced teas.

A growing number of companies including General Mills, one of Fortune’s 1999 Top 100 Companies to Work for in America, are relying on employee-focused perks to motivate employees.

“We appreciate the continued efforts of our employees and want to keep them happy and satisfied,” said Anita Hall, General Mills Facilities Manager. “Through a variety of quality products and popular brands, ARAMARK enables us to satisfy our employees with convenient refreshments throughout the workday.”
