Global Foods Online (OTC BB:GFDO), the first multimedia business-to-business publishing, advertising, sales and marketing company servicing the specialty gourmet food and beverage industry, announced on Friday (3 November) it has partnered with Real Technologies to integrate its traditional print media publications with the Company’s e-commerce site.
Global Foods recently announced it will publish and distribute printed, illustrated source guides and directories that promote manufacturers and advertisers of gourmet specialty food, beverage, confectionery, wine and alcohol products from around the world. These quarterly updated, magazine-sized directories will be initially sent free of charge to 50,000 selected USA and Canada-based decision makers in the specialty food industry, followed by a mailing to 200,000 buyers worldwide. Advertisers who purchase space in the directories will be provided free advertising online on www.globalfoodsonline.com.
The directories will be integrated into the Company’s website by Real Technologies. John Harrison, president of Global Foods Online, stated, “Through our partnership with Real Technologies, Global Foods Online has researched, developed and implemented a next generation e-commerce site that combines our traditional print media with the Internet to provide a total multimedia solution serving the $65 billion United States gourmet food export and import industry.”
David Gordon, chairman of Global Foods, said, “Real Technologies has created a superior, real-time, virtual marketplace that enables Global Foods to maximize its advertising revenue opportunities through both print and online resources. Real Technologies delivers the B2B solution that advertisers and clients demand in our business.”
David Reale, president of Real Technologies, stated, “Together with Global Foods, we have created an entirely new technique to bring sales growth and profits to advertisers. The Global Foods website seamlessly integrates Global Foods’ printed directory advertisers into its online site in order to capitalize on both the traditional and promotional strategies for the estimated multi-billion dollar e-commerce marketplace.”
