The H.E.Butt Grocery Company requested today that customers return five UPC Codes of Tyson pre-cooked chicken products and one UPC Code of Hill Country Fare pre-cooked chicken product purchased at H-E-B grocery stores throughout the state. This action is a voluntary precaution and the result of notification to H-E-B by the product manufacturer, Tyson Foods, that the pre-cooked chicken products may be undercooked. The products were manufactured at Tyson’s Chicken Quick Plant in Rogers, Arkansas. There are no known cases of illness associated with the consumption of the products, and no pathogenic organisms have been found in product testing. H-E-B has decided to remove the product from the shelf as a precaution. ALL of the product has been pulled off the shelf today.

H-E-B requests that the following products not be consumed. They should be returned to the store for a full refund:

The affected product was sold at all H-E-B grocery stores in Texas. Central Market stores and Mexico stores are NOT affected.
