Since 1991 Harry and David has opened stores across the country, from Maine to California and from Washington to Florida. The first Harry and David outlet store opened in Troutdale, Ore., in 1991, and in 1998 Harry and David opened its first two stores in regional malls in Denver and in West Hartford, Conn. The business has grown to include stores in some of the nation’s top regional shopping areas, such as Watertower Place in Chicago and The Gardens in West Palm Beach, Fla., as well as outlet stores in major malls across the country.
