Information Resources, Inc. (Nasdaq: IRIC) announced yesterday that it has entered into agreements with Dairy Management Inc.(TM) (DMI) and the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) to provide both organizations with scanner-based tracking information for cheese and milk for the next three years.
Under the agreements, IRI will supply scanner-based tracking information via IRI’s CPGNetwork service, which provides rapid, Web-based information delivery. DMI and IDFA also will have access to IRI’s analytical tools and analytical projects tailored specifically toward the milk and cheese industry. In addition, DMI and IDFA members will have access to customized IRI data subscriptions for their own special needs.

Based in Rosemont, Ill., DMI is the domestic and international planning and management organization that builds demand for U.S.-dairy produced dairy products on behalf of America’s more than 90,000 dairy farmers.
