James K. Markey has joined Kellogg Company as vice president, chief counsel – securities and international. Markey comes to Kellogg from Motorola, Inc., where he served as a vice president in the law department. Previously, he was affiliated with a major Chicago law firm and served as a counsel in the law departments of Baxter Healthcare Corporation and The Quaker Oats Company.

Markey received a bachelor of business administration degree with highest honors from The University of Notre Dame, a juris doctorate with honors from the University of Michigan Law School, a master of business administration degree from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and a master of law degree from DePaul University.
