US food company Kraft Foods has said that Irene Rosenfeld, president of Kraft’s North American arm, is leaving the company after less than a year in the job.
Kraft said Rosenfeld, who in September became the first person to hold the position, is leaving to pursue other opportunities.
The company also said Michael Polk, group vice president of Kraft Foods North America and president of biscuit, snacks and confections, is leaving the company. Polk was named senior vice president of marketing and chief operating officer of Unilever Bestfoods North America, Unilever said.
Kraft said Polk would be succeeded by Daryl Brewster, who had been president of Kraft Foods North America’s Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico operations.
