Krispy Kreme Doughnuts has named Frank Murphy executive VP and general counsel at its Winston-Salem headquarters.


Murphy joins Krispy Kreme from Kilpatrick Stockton, LLP, where he was a partner, member of the Kilpatrick Stockton executive committee and former deputy managing partner of the firm.


Scott Livengood, chairman, president and CEO of Krispy Kreme, said, “It is important that we continue to bring knowledgeable, talented people with broad experience into the Krispy Kreme organisation. Frank is the perfect fit for us and will greatly enhance our company. In fact, he has been a part of Krispy Kreme for more than two decades through his service as legal counsel.”
