US food producer Lifeway Foods has announced the introduction of a new line of spreads under the name Lifeway Cream Cheese Gourmet.

The new cream cheeses will be available in several flavours including Plain Whipped, Vegetable, Strawberry, Chives, Apple Cinnamon Raisin, Sun Dried Tomato, Lox and Onion, Honey Mustard, Cheddar Cheese with Horseradish, and Apricot. They will be sold in 7.5-oz containers and more varieties will be added to the product line in the coming months.
“We are excited about the growth opportunities of developing an additional product line for our current customers, and for our new customers,” said Julie Smolyansky, Lifeway Foods’ president. “We are confident we can tremendously grow our new cream cheese line both here in Chicago, and nationally.”
Lifeway also makes cultured, probiotic and functional food products, including the cultured dairy product known as kefir, as well as organic and soy food products.
