Food and non-food distribution company McLane has announced that Thomas Zatina has accepted the position of president of its foodservice business unit effective 1 January 2006.


Zatina brings over 30 years of distribution experience to McLane Foodservice. He is currently the President and principal founder of Zatina and Associates, a consulting firm that counsels executive teams on strategic business issues such as operations, sales development, marketing, merchandising and more.


“We are pleased Tom Zatina is joining the McLane team,” said president and CEO Grady Rosier. “Tom is highly respected in the distribution industry and will be a great asset to McLane Foodservice.”


Thomas Zatina will replace current president of McLane Foodservice, Mike Youngblood. The company previously announced Youngblood as the new president of McLane Grocery Distribution taking over for the retiring Terry McElroy.
