These new accounts include conventional supermarkets, discount stores and military business, representing more than $120 million annualized.
Significant independent supermarket operators that recently selected NFC as the food distributor for their stores include:
Kuhn’s Markets, a six-store supermarket retailer in the Pittsburgh, Pa., area.
Feist Stores, a seven-store supermarket retailer in South Dakota.
Remke’s Markets, a seven-store supermarket retailer in the Cincinnati, Ohio, area.
Additionally, NFC has been awarded the following significant new business:
— Ten former Fairway Foods customers recently chose NFC as their primary food distributor.
— Procter & Gamble awarded NFC additional military supply business in Europe and North Carolina.

— Gibson’s, a 19-store discount chain based in Kansas, has entered into a supply agreement with NFC to provide grocery and related products.
