US biscotti maker Nonni’s Food has announced the acquisition of Old London Foods, which makes premium crackers and Old London Melba Toast.

Old London Foods also produces breadcrumbs under several brands including the Old London brand and markets specialty snacks under the Devonsheer and JJ Flats brands.

The acquisition includes Old London’s facility in Bronx, New York, and its breadcrumb facilities in Willingboro, New Jersey, and Knoxville, Tennessee. Its products are sold primarily through grocery stores and foodservice providers.

Nonni’s Food is the largest manufacturer and marketer of biscotti and bagel chips in North America; its products are marketed under the Nonni’s and New York Style brand names.

“The Old London business is highly complementary and offers significant marketing and cross-selling synergies that will more effectively position us to serve our customers and meet the growing consumer demand for Nonni’s, New York Style and the Old London Brand products,” said Tim Harris, Nonni’s CEO.
