PackagingInsider.com, Inc.(SM) and the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP), Herndon, VA, have signed an exclusive agreement under which the two entities will work together to enhance the development of their Web sites for the packaging community.
Under the terms of the 2-year agreement, IoPP will provide industry expertise to PackagingInsider.com to monitor discussion forums, support expansion of the site’s extensive product offerings, progress the unique features and functionality of decision-support tools, and actively promote industry awareness of net market trading.

In turn, PackagingInsider.com will provide technical assistance to IoPP for the continued development of IoPP’s on-line educational products and services.
In February, 2000 PackagingInsider.com announced a joint venture with the industry’s leading publisher, Independent Publishing Company (IPC). IPC has a separate agreement with IoPP to publish the organization’s official, bi-monthly technical publication entitled Journal for Packaging Professionals.
