The affected products are packaged in 3.52-ounce bags with the “Best Before” date of AUG1202 CZ1XX (note: the XX can denote 01 to and including 07).

No illnesses have been reported in association with the snacks, but people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of an allergic reaction if they consume this product. Consumers who have purchased the affected products are being asked to return them to the retail outlet where they were purchased for a full refund.

Quaker has meanwhile notified retailers to remove the products from store shelves and has notified the US Food & Drug Administration of the recall. No other Quaker rice snacks products are affected.
