Frank Puleo has been named Director of Thrift Store Operations for Tasty Baking Company, according to Carl S. Watts, Chairman, CEO, President of Tasty Baking.
Puleo will be responsible for the overall management of the company’s Thrift Outlet Stores, a new concept launched by Tasty Baking in September 2000. Currently, the company operates 16 Thrift Outlet Stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and Delaware, with plans for significant growth.

Prior to Tasty Baking, Puleo had a long and distinguished career with Genuardi’s Family Markets, Inc., where he held several key management positions. Most recently, Puleo was the Director of Merchandising for Genuardi’s Family Markets, Inc., where he was the facilitator for brand development and established the organization’s overall marketing strategies.
“Frank’s extensive experience in the management of retail food operations as well as his significant business experience will be a positive addition to our management team,” said Watts. “With the tremendous success of our new Thrift Outlet Stores, we believe Frank will help us continue the momentum and help us with our future growth strategies.”
Puleo is a graduate of East Stroudsburg State University in Pennsylvania. He is an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, and is also a coach of youth soccer, basketball, baseball and softball for the Audubon Recreation Association.
Puleo currently resides in Audubon, PA with his wife, Lori and their three children, Frank, Nick & Melissa.
