WorldJuiceTrade.com, the global e-marketplace for producers and packagers of bulk juice concentrates, today announced that it has secured its Series B financing led by Bay City Capital’s North American Nutrition and Agribusiness Fund (NANAF), in conjunction with William Blair New World Ventures.

“The dust has settled in the world of B2B e-marketplaces.  Those companies that remain continue to see support from the venture capital community,” said Mike MacDougal, Co-Founder of WorldJuiceTrade.com.  “WorldJuiceTrade.com is recognized throughout the industry as a neutral, transparent and full solution e-marketplace.  With the financial support of Bay City Capital and William Blair New World Ventures, we look forward to continuing to grow and add value to this industry.”

WorldJuiceTrade.com operates a dedicated e-marketplace where producers and packagers of bulk juice concentrate can efficiently negotiate and execute their entire transaction online.  Additionally, members can access real-time market price and volume data, manage contracts and logistics, and arrange post-transaction services such as shipping.  WorldJuiceTrade.com currently has knowledgeable representatives in Argentina, Chile, and Germany as well as the U.S., to service members using the e-marketplace.  This second round of funding will help fuel the company’s continued growth and service offerings to the industry.

“We have remained true to our original business model by staying focused only on the bulk segment of the industry and have not changed our company’s focus despite turmoil in the technology world,” said MacDougal.  “We believe this is why we have the best product and service and were able to secure additional funding in this changing market.”

“Bay City Capital is familiar with the agribusiness e-commerce space, and we believe WorldJuiceTrade.com is the leader in this industry.  We are impressed with the online services and are excited to be involved with this company,” said Kirby Bartlett, Vice President at Bay City Capital.
