US fastfood giant Yum! Brands, which operates the KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell chains, has said international system sales for the four-week period ended 30 October rose 13% in US dollar terms.

The company reported an estimated 10% rise in international system sales prior to foreign currency conversion for October.
Estimated US same-store sales at company restaurants increased 2%, with a 3% rise at Taco Bell, a 6% increase at Pizza Hut and a 3% decline at KFC.
