Crisp’n Light Mild Rye and 100% Whole Grain will launch this summer, the company said yesterday (18 August).


Crisp’n Light Mild Rye provides 8% of the Daily Value for fiber (2g), 4g of whole grains and 80 calories per serving, the company claims.


100% Whole Grain is made with 100% whole grains, providing 12g in every slice, with 40 calories per serving, the company said.


“The rye in new Wasa Crisp’n Light Mild Rye and Wasa 100% Whole Grain contains phytonutrients that function as antioxidants, prebiotics and phytoestrogens. These compounds play a key role in the reduction of heart disease and cancer risks,” Wasa said.
